Generosity Feeds Lexington Meal Creation Event

In 2025, be a Hunger Hero by joining the fundraising arm of CenterPointe Christian Church and Generosity Feeds for a Meal Creation Event to package 50,000 meals to fight child hunger locally.

This event will take place:
Meal Creation Set Up: Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM
Meal Creation Event: Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM
Location: STEAM Academy – 1555 Georgetown Rd., Lexington, KY 40511

Changing the Math on Hunger Starts with You!

For the eighth year, CenterPointe’s team at Food for the Bluegrass is partnering with Generosity Feeds to make an impact in our community by helping feed kids in Lexington.
Right now, 50% of children in Fayette County, KY face food insecurity.

How Can You Make a Difference?

Give us two hours of your time in 2025
Did you know that 50,000 meals can be packed in two hours? Our rockstar volunteers have done that and more every year for six years. Dedicate just two hours of your time in 2025, and you’ll be counted among these incredible volunteers. Invite your friends, family, church, teammates, sorority, fraternity, coworkers, or anyone who likes to have a great time and wants to help kids in Fayette County.

*Any individual handling open ingredients will be required to wear gloves and a hairnet.

Donate Toward Meals
Believe it or not, there is something you can buy for $1.00! Every meal we pack during the Generosity Feeds Meal Creation Event is $1.00, so when we say every dollar counts, we mean it. If you can’t donate your time, please consider donating meals. Our goal is to pack 50k meals, which takes $50,000. Meals are distributed through Fayette County’s Backpack Program through Centerpointe and other partnering agencies.

Important Info:
Each packing station can accommodate up to 12 volunteers, and we’ll do our best to keep groups together. Kids are welcome! The minimum age to participate is 5 years old.
